Road to the Season: AC Staff Predictions, Tweet Style

We wrap up our road to the season and build up to the opener with rapid fire predictions from the Anaheim Calling staff.

Jeff Gross

We all know that pre-season predictions can get tedious and repetitive. So, at Anaheim Calling we decided to minimize that tedium by limiting ourselves to 140 characters on our prognostications. Of course everyone tried to pack in as much information as possible, so they ended up sounding like bad haikus.

Enjoy!

Justin:

Ducks take the first few months off anyway. Gabby lets the kids shine, solid D, #Hillerstrong, and Getzlaf has Hart. Pacific Division title.

Kristen:

Rickard Rakell and Peter Holland click. Devante Smith-Pelly silences his critics. We make the playoffs. In the offseason, Corey Perry walks.

Daniel:

Prediction: Souray finds a way to get hurt. Twins' offensive explosion still can't cover lack of scoring depth. Ducks miss the playoffs.

Robby:

The Ducks PP gets back on track and Teemu continues to dazzle. Ducks make the playoffs in the last two games of the season.

SK:

2nd in Pacific, rookies = energy force, defense improved & power play is figured out. Rumors heat as Perry/Getz have "contract" season.

Chris:

Boudreau curses on TV, Hiller plays 40, Eighth seed, Lose in first round, Perry and Getzlaf stay, Teemu retires, 2023 season starts Jan 20

Jen:

Fast start. Lose momentum. Squeak into playoffs. Getzy stays. Perry walks. Teemu one more year. Murray saves job for 1 more season. Go Ducks
