I'll take 47 more games just like the first one, please.

Okay, if they all can't be 7-3 victories against teams like Vancouver, how about four point nights for Teemu Selanne? Or "welcome to the team" goals from Daniel Winnik and Sheldon Souray? I'll even give up three goals a night if it means the Ducks are potting seven of their own.

But alas, we must move forward! On to Calgary!

The Ducks are coming into Calgary with the good fortune of having a day of rest. The Flames, on the other hand, are playing their second in two nights after coming off their loss to the San Jose Sharks. While the Ducks are slumming through the flu symptoms thanks to Cam Fowler, the Flames are in a whole new transition of their own.

Calgary has a new head coach in Bob Hartley and the face of their franchise, Jarome Iginla, is in a questionable state after missing the first few days of "camp" due to a groin injury. Iginla is on a bit of an ironman streak having played in every game for the previous five seasons.

This could very well be a team with huge question marks, larger than those for the Ducks, which might just mean that fans could see the Ducks start off this short season on the road in a very favorable fashion.

(knock on wood.)

GO DUCKS!!!
