We have more than enough right wingers. The left wing position, not so much. It's basically Bobby Ryan and a bunch randoms.
LEFT WINGERS
Bobby Ryan - Ryan is a controversial figure in the Anaheim Calling community. Some argue that he's a whining, petulant baby who wants to be "the guy" on this team, but hasn't earned it. Others think he's a nice guy who's just misunderstood. Regardless, he's been a consistent 30 goal scorer since his professional hockey career began, and 29 other teams will fight tooth and nail for his services if we ever let him go. During the lockout, he was a point per game player (centered by Anze Kopitar) for Mora in Sweden's second-tier league, HockeyAllsvenskan. I think a shortened season might be an ideal time for him to work his magic.
Daniel Winnik - The Ducks signed free agent Winnik during the 2012 offseason, and I feel like he might eventually be regarded as the best player acquired during that period. He has been a consistent NHL presence for the last few seasons, lending his penalty-killing expertise to the Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, and San Jose Sharks. Expect a Winnik-Getzlaf-Perry experiment on the top line as well.
Andrew Cogliano - Even though many hockey databases list Cogliano as a center, he really belongs on the wing. He is also a durable player with an excellent work ethic, and is capable of generating a little offense as a member of our bottom six.
Matt Beleskey - Beleskey is one of many young, physical Ducks wingers trying to establish a spot with the big club. It will be interesting to see the effect his stint in England has on his NHL play.

Josh Brittain - The Ducks drafted Brittain in the third round of the 2008 Draft (71st overall), but it will likely be another few years until he becomes a serious NHL prospect. He does have 27 points in 31 games with the Fort Wayne Komets, which is promising. [Ed. Note: in final year of contract; will be a restricted free agent.]
Patrick Maroon -Maroon is talented, dominant player at the AHL level who played two games with the Ducks last season. During his brief spell with the Ducks, he was placed on the top line with the Twins, where he was largely ineffective. Yet, I believe that a player like Maroon deserves a longer look - and another chance to play with Perry and Getzlaf. [Ed. Note: in final year of contract; will be a restricted free agent.]
John Mitchell - Unlike a lot of the emerging young forwards in the Ducks system, Mitchell is not an offensive dynamo waiting to make a big splash in the big club. (In 139 games at the University of Wisconsin, he only put up 61 points.) Mitchell's strength lies in his ability to deploy his 6'5", 216 lb frame to maximum effect.
