Anaheim Calling's Next Top Writer, Cycle 3

HI EVERYBODY! (Hi Dr. Nick)

As I'm sure you're all aware, our good friend Jen has moved on to bigger and better things over at Puck Daddy. It may also be apparent that she shouldered a huge load, and has left a bit of a vacuum in her wake. As such, we're looking to add a few members to our staff.

We're looking for people to preview/recap games, as well as add some separate analysis and news posts. We're also open to the idea of adding another Norfolk writer, to help ease some of the pressure off of Carolyn's schedule (pretty much all recaps there). So, basically everything we do.

Here are the rules:

1) Be a Ducks (or Ads) Fan.

2) Be available to write AT LEAST one post per week, on deadlines.

3) Have a decent to wonderful grasp of the English language.

4) Have a thick skin. The internet is tough out there, you guys.

5) Sign up for an SBN account and become a member of AC (if you aren't already)

If, and only if you meet ALL of the above conditions and are still interested, email me at Anaheimcalling@gmail.com with a little bit about yourself (who you are, how long you've been a fan, why you want to write for us, etc.) and a writing sample, 500-750 words on a Ducks (or Ads) related topic of your choice.

Submissions will be accepted until Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12 Noon Pacific Time.
