Game Reviews

Game #1
Final Score: Norfolk 4, Wilkes-Barre 1
Goal scorers for Admirals: Jay Rosehill (3,4); Josh Brittain (6); Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond (1)
How'd our goalie do? In just his second start in Norfolk Jeff Deslauriers stopped 31 of 32, the only goal against was a fluke.
Numbers for Nerds: Rosehill and PL3 each had three point games with Rosehill getting the Gordie Howe Hat trick after punching the Penguins Bobby Farnham a bunch of times. Josh Brittain leads the Admirals with goals since the beginning of January with six.

Game #2
Final Score: Norfolk 1, Wilkes-Barre 4
Goal scorers for Admirals: After taking Friday off, Peter Holland had the only goal and it was short handed.
How'd our goalie do? Igor Bobkov lost stopped 29 of 32 shots.
Numbers for Nerds: Holland had the most shots for the night with five on net, Brittain and Rod Pelley both had four. The Admirals scored just their fifth shorthanded goal of the season, they've given up seven. The power play went 0-for-5.

Game #3

Goal scorers for Admirals: Patrick Maroon (13); Holland (16), Dan Sexton (3)
How'd our goalie do? Big Bobber stopped 31 0f 34 in regulation and overtime and allowed one goal out of four attempts in the shootout.
Numbers for Nerds: In a big rivalry game something rare happened: there were only six penalties all game and no fights! Neither team scored with the man advantage. Maroon had a goal and an assist and had four shots on goal. Chris Wagner had a rare off night taking two minor penalties and finishing a minus-1.
