The best part of a back-to-back, especially when all goes wrong, is the opportunity to get back at it the very next night.

I'm definitely ready to forget last night.

As the Ducks head into St. Louis less than 24 hours after the final whistle in Dallas, the questions surrounding this team are beginning to take an ugly turn.

The Ducks were definitely hoping to have their tandem split up the duties here on this road trip and most particularly on this back-to-back weekend. There's no question that when Hiller took to the net to start the game in Dallas, we'd be seeing a fresh Viktor Fasth on Saturday against the Blues. However, after Hiller was pulled for a lower-body injury, it seems that Fasth will be carrying a heavy and unexpected load here on this trip. If there are any of you out there still questioning how valuable Fasth can be to this Ducks roster, this will most definitely be an opportunity to have those questions answered.

The Ducks, as a whole, will look to wipe their memories of the Friday night loss in Dallas; Corey Perry, in particular. He's struggling, no doubt. It's frustrating for us, as spectators and fans, but it's got to be downright infuriating for the winger.

Here's an easy one...think we'll be seeing Brad Staubitz in the line-up? I don't.

Finally, are the Ducks going to be ready to forget the monstrosity in Dallas and move on? After starting out on fire, St. Louis is a middle of the road team right now and they're coming off a brutal 5-1 loss to the Red Wings (who the Ducks will be visiting shortly). This meeting always offers up an opportunity to watch old fan favorite Andy McDonald fly around the ice and give everyone a reason to provide their fantasy trade proposals on how they want to get him back .

Either way, a tired Ducks team only has one option...shake it off, Anaheim, you're nearing the halfway mark of this brutal trip!
