John Wright/Norfolk Admirals

Final Score: Admirals 1, Phantoms 4

First Period Recap: The only goal scored in the first twenty minutes belonged to Erik Gustafsson from the Adirondack Phantoms. It was an even strength goal 8:58 into the period. The Phantoms out-shot the Admirals 12-6. Neither team scored on the power play with both of them having one chance.

Second Period Recap: The second period is when the game really unwound for the Admirals when Adirondack scored on two odd man rushes where Norfolk was just totally out of position. On the first one Ryan Parent was the only Admiral close to the play but couldn't do anything to keep Tye McGinn from scoring his 12th. A little over a minute later Danny Syvret scored his 5th of the season on the power play. The goal was on a 4-on-2 rush after the Admirals decided to try and score a shorthanded goal with some of the slowest skaters on the ice. Both teams has 11 shots and the Admirals went 0 for 3 on the power play.

Third Period Recap: Devante Smith-Pelly scored the only Admirals goal 10:58 into the third on the power play. Patrick Maroon and Sami Vatanen got the assists. McGinn added an empty net goal with 15 seconds left for his 13th of the season.

3rd Icehole: Sami Vatanen - He made bad passes on the power play all night long and was a minus-2. He did tie Holland with 38 points on the season, though.

2nd Icehole: Kyle Wilson - After a good road trip he goes minus-2 with no shots on net.

1st Icehole: Ryan Parent - This guy seriously played in a Stanley Cup Finals? Seriously?
