Admirals Aftermath: Two Outta' Three Ain't Bad, Unless You're Trying To Make The Playoffs

The Norfolk Admirals are on a desperate run to make the playoffs. This past week they won 2 of 3 games. Great, except they need to be practically perfect from here on out to make the playoffs.

How'd our goalie do? After giving up two early goals Andersen finished the game strong stopping 21 of 23.
Numbers for Nerds: Holland received the second hat trick of the season for the Norfolk Admirals, first was by Corey Elkins who deported himself to Europe. The Admirals went 0-for-4 on the man advantage and gave up only one power play goal on 8 penalties.

How'd our goalie do? Igor Bobkov gave up two goals in the final 2:33, including Hershey's game winning goal with just 46 seconds left, to lose the game. He stopped 24 shots.

Injuries: As far as anyone knows everyone is healthy for once. Lindholm and Caputi were both healthy scratches last Saturday.

#2 - Brandon McMillan - After missing a substantial amount of time he scored 3 goals and earned a trip to the NHL.
#1 - Peter Holland - 3 goals and earned another call up

Cabin Boy: Igor Bobkov - He hasn't shown the ability to really step up his play when the Admirals need it.
