Final Score: Admirals 4, Sharks 3
First Period Recap: The Admirals started the game off like how they ended the previous one. They were out-shot 10-15 in the first period and looked a bit shaky. Surprisingly enough everything went downhill after they killed a long 5 on 3. Four and a half minutes into the period the Sharks got on the board first with James Livingston scoring his seventh goal of the season. The Sharks went up 2-0 when Matt Pelech scored his third goal of the season, and his second in two games, with 8:17 left in the first.
Second Period Recap: Norfolk finally woke up in the second period and absolutely dominated Worcester. The Admirals rang off 23 shots to the Sharks eight and it looked like the Sharks might have been done. Patrick Maroon scored his team leading 24th goal of the season 5:36 into the period. Nate Guenin and Charlie Sarault got the assists. With 8:05 remaining in the period Devante Smith-Pelly scored his 13th of the season, unassisted. Norfolk had four power play chances and Worcester had one.
Third Period Recap: Almost as early as humanely possible into the final twenty minutes (13 seconds) Chris Wagner, who had his family and friends in the stands, scored his eighth goal of the season with Hampus Lindholm and Steven Whitney getting the helpers. It took just seven minutes for the Sharks to respond with Eriah Hayes getting his first goal of the season. The shots were pretty close but the Sharks edged out the Admirals 12-11 and both teams had one man advantage.
Overtime Recap: In overtime the Sharks had zero shots to the Admirals four. Norfolk got a power play with 2:06 remaining and they made Worcester pay. Sami Vatanen scored his ninth goal of the season with a wicked slap shot from a nice pass served up by Sarault.

The Good: The Admirals came back from a two goal deficit to beat the Sharks. Norfolk is now tied with the Connecticut Whale and occupy the seventh seed thanks to their game in hand.
The Bad: Norfolk slept through the first period for the most part, I was not a happy camper.
The Ugly: Harry Z got boarded, the ref called it cross-checking, in the second period and I'm not exactly sure I heard of him to much after that. He was sent in head first from just inside the goal line.
