Final Score: Admirals 3, Bruins 4

First Period Recap: The Admirals started off the first period strong scoring first against the best team in the league. Devante Smith-Pelly scored 4:22 into the game for his 14th goal of the season. Providence answered with 9:07 left in the period when Ryan Spooner earned 15th goal of his season. Norfolk out-shot the Bruins 10-3 and both teams went 0-for-1 on the power play. Honestly, Norfolk should have put this game away in the first with that big shot advantage.

Second Period Recap: The middle period had all the excitement of the game. Providence started off the scoring frenzy 3:36 in with Craig Cunningham scoring his 25th goal of the season, Chris Borque received his second assist of the night on it. Patrick Maroon tied the game back up with 9:44 left in the period for his team leading 26th goal, Gabe Guentzel and Kevin Gagne received the assists.

The back and forth action continued with Spooner getting his second goal of the night and Borque getting his third assist. Admirals Captain Nate Guenin tied the game up yet again with his 4th of the season. Hampus Lindholm and Peter Holland assisted on the goal. It was Lindholm's first point since the 13th and Holland's first AHL point since March 1st. Norfolk successfully killed off two penalties and had no power plays. Providence out-shot Norfolk 16-10.

Third Period Recap: The Admirals had the only power play of the period at the 14:35 mark but couldn't do anything with it. The Bruins laid the shots on Frederik Andersen all 20 minutes and out-shot Norfolk 14-5 and they didn't want to let up. The Admirals waited until the final minute of the game to end their season. Spooner scored his third of the day and earned a hat trick, Borque assisted again to get a point off of every goal.

**********

The Good: The Admirals scored more than one goal!

The Bad: Although the Admirals kept equaling the score in the second period the Bruins got off 30 shots to Norfolk's 15 in the last 40 minutes of the game.

The Ugly: Norfolk finished their monumental collapse with 4 losses in a row and being out scored 16-4, gave up two hat tricks and were shut out once.

3rd Icehole: Kyle Wilson - 3 shots on goal and a minus-1

2nd Icehole: Mat Clark - One minor penalty, one shot, minus-2.

1st Icehole: Rod Pelley - He isn't an offensive power but I hoped a veteran player could have stepped up. He was a minus-2 with 2 shots.
