Trade deadline day is finally here. It's probably going to be relatively quiet for the Ducks, as shown by Bob Murray's comment to Eric Stephens of the OC Register:
Ducks are working on stuff but won't overpay as GM Murray has said. Not likely to move their 1st or 2nd just to add any C or F.

Not at all surprised by Murray not wanting to move their first or second round pick. If they're going to build a contending team around Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, they're going to need quality, early round draft picks for years to come.
I have a feeling if any moves are made today, it's to bolster Norfolk's playoff run, instead of the Ducks. We'll post anything that happens, like...
The Ducks signed a kid from Boston College, as reported by Darren Dreger of TSN:
news from last night. Ducks sign college free agent Steven Whitney from Boston College. second in nation in goals. #tradecentre

Whitney's Boston College profile lists him as a 5'7" forward from Massachusetts. The New England Hockey Writers Association named Whitney, plus two of his BC teammates, as 2012-2013 Division 1 all-stars.
