With nine days remaining before opening night in Colorado, the Ducks have trimmed the roster to 35 (19 forwards, 12 D and 4 Goalies) by sending six players to Norfolk.
For what they're worth, here are the preseason stats for the six new Admirals:

The other big story of this training camp is the injuries that seem to be coming fast and furious. Eric Stephens has the latest from Hawkeye and Trapper John in the Ducks' *M*A*S*H* Unit. [OC Register $]
The Cliff's Notes version: Emerson Etem and Jakob Silfverberg are both day-to-day with lower body injuries sustained against San Jose (Friday) and Colorado (Sunday) respectively. Sami Vatanen is back in practice after playing limited minutes due to injury in San Jose. Corey Perry came off the ice in today's practice but should be fine. And Luca Sbisa is still out for at least the rest of the preseason.
Finally, tomorrow's game against the Kings at Staples will be broadcast locally on Prime Ticket. I assume that since it's a Kings home game it will be Miller/Fox on the mics, but either way, I never thought I'd see the day that preseason hockey is broadcast on local TV in So Cal. The future is now.
