Rookie Camp Schedule/Roster Announced

New, comments

It's not real hockey, it's not even preseason, it's not really even training camp, but Rookie Camp starts Thursday and it's one step closer to the real thing.

I won't have to deal with this crap again next year.

It seems like every day we're getting new signs that the 2013-14 season is nearly upon us.  Today it was the announcement of the Ducks Rookie Camp schedule and roster, the centerpiece of which is a game between the Ducks and Kings rookies at Honda Center on Saturday, Sept 7 (There's also a game on Monday night at the Kings' practice facility in El Segundo).

It all kicks off with a double practice session open to the public and free of charge on Thursday, Sept 5 at 11 am and 12:30 pm.  That's less than 48 hours away!  So, if you're jonesing for some hockey, see if you can slip out of work for an early and/or long lunch to see the ducklings in action.

Anyone you're particularly excited to see?  2013 first round draft pick Shea Theodore? Highly coveted and speedy (according to Jen) product of the Bobby Ryan Trade, Stefan Noesen?  American Hero: John Gibson? NCAA National Champion/Yale Bulldog Antoine Laganiere?  Nick Sorensen's luscious blonde hair?  Discuss in the comments below....
