The last trip Anaheim made to Winnipeg without Teemu Selanne on their roster came on January 14, 1996 as the Mighty Ducks knocked off the Jets 6-4. Seven different Ducks made the score sheet with Shaun Van Allen tickling the twine twice, Joe Sacco scoring the game-winner and dishing an assist, Paul Kariya tallying a goal and assist, David Sacco recording a goal and assist, Garry Valk scoring and adding a helper, Dave Karpa assisting twice and Bob Corkum adding an assist. Guy Hebert made 36 saves to earn the decision- interestingly enough Selanne had an assist for the Jets but was on ice for a pair of goals against.
