Initial Reaction:

From what I've read and the reaction on NHL Network it sounds like Brandon Montour is a high risk, high reward type of player. He's an offensive defenseman who needs to work on his defensive game. I see him as a player similar to Shea Theodore, but he needs more time to be NHL ready.
