One of Anaheim's three defensemen scheduled for restricted free agency after the 2015-16 season is off the market, as the Ducks re-upped with Simon Despres for a five year, $18.5 mil. deal.
Ducks Ink G John Gibson To Extension

$2.3 mil. AAV for next three seasons. With 26 games of NHL experience, it will be interesting to see what this means for Frederik Andersen.
Ducks Add More Depth, Sign Mike Santorelli
It's a one year, $875k for the forward who opened last season with the Maple Leafs before being traded to Nashville at the trade deadline. He'll turn 30 this season, and put up 13 goals and 21 assists last year. For his career, he's had a positive shot attempts differential in five of seven seasons at even strength.
Ducks Sign RFA Hagelin To 4yr $4.0 mil AAV Deal
The final RFA forward domino of the offseason falls as Carl Hagelin signed with Anaheim for a 4 year deal worth $4 mil. AAV. A speedy winger with penalty kill prowess, he looks to add a forechecking and board battle presence to go with his wheels.
Ducks Re-Sign Silfverberg: 4 Years, $3.75 mi. AAV
One of the major remaining RFA for Anaheim is taken care of, and at a solid price and term.
