Khudobin is used to making an impression in his first start with a new team. In 05-06 his first start with Minnesota saw him make 38 saves in a 2-1 win over Philadelphia. While with Boston in 11-12 he had 44 stops as the B's took a road win against Ottawa 3-1. In his debut with Carolina during the 13-14 campaign he made 17 stops to help the hosts knock off Philadelphia 3-1. Totaling up his three debut games with teams, Khudobin is 3-0-0 with a .971 save percentage.
