Numbers For Nerds
With The Twins having been held off the score sheet thus far this season, here's the longest it's taken in to the season for Getzlaf and Perry to record their first points of the season: Getzlaf went scoreless for the first four games of the 08-09 season, before picking up an assist against San Jose in Anaheim's fifth game of the year; that season he finished with a career-high 91 points on 25 goals and a career-high 66 assists. Perry went without a point for the first three games of the season twice, in 10-11 and 11-12. In both years he scored in the Ducks fourth game of the season, finishing 10-11 with a career-high 98 points on a career-high and Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy winning 50 goals and 48 assists to win the Hart Trophy, and with 60 points on 37 goals and 23 assists in 11-12.
