Numbers For Nerds
Last season Anaheim went 8-3-1 last season on the second leg of back-to-backs, including 6-1-1 on the road.
For his career Andersen is 3-3-0 with a .881 save percentage and 3.40 goals against average when starting the second game of a back-to-back after starting the first. All six of those games occurred last season, with one win coming in overtime and one in the shootout; he was pulled twice in losses.
The Ducks have never taken full points from a season series against the Stars. Anaheim has won every away game in Dallas just twice in franchise history; last year, and the 2001-02 season. The Ducks have never won more than two consecutive games in the Lone Star State, accomplishing that feat three times.
