This Monday night the San Diego Gulls host the Ontario Reign in an AHL preseason game from the home of the Anaheim Ducks, and the guys from 'Anaheim Calling: The Podcast' will be there.

Come hang out with Eric and Kyle at The Pint House on Katella starting at 5 PM before heading over to take in the first ever 'home' game for the Gulls. The Pint House is located at 1547 West Katella, about a 15 minute walk from Honda Center, and in the same shopping center as the movie theater. Get directions from wherever you're coming from via Google Maps here.

San Diego defeated Ontario 3-2 in a shootout in their first exhibition game on Friday, October 2 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Gulls jumped out to a two goal lead, getting an early goal from Bryan Moore in the first period and a power play goal from Harry Zolnierczyk 5:22 in to the second frame. Ontario equalized with a late second period goal from Alex Roach, then a power play marker by Valentin Zykov past the middle mark of the third.

Matt Hackett made stops on 30 of 32 shots for San Diego, while Reign goalie Michael Houser denied 25 of 27. The teams played through a scoreless three-on-three overtime session, with Hackett making seven stops including a shutting the door on Zykov on a breakaway during the five minutes of extra time. Ondrej Kase scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Gulls the victory.

Let the guys know on Twitter if you plan on attending, @EricTheHawk and @ACKyleNicolas, or leave a comment here. Depending on the amount of folks that show up it may be necessary to make a reservation.

It will be a great time to get together, share excitement for the start of the Ducks and Gulls seasons, and meet some of the other thousands... And thousands of listeners of The Only Podcast That Matters. Hope to see you there!
