Numbers For Nerds
These two teams have quite a history when it comes to the sweaters they've worn, combining for 42 different looks between them. Anaheim has worn 16 different jerseys over their history; this counts the 1996-97 addition of the shoulder patches as different than the inaugural, non-shoulder patch uniforms worn from 93-94 through 95-96, as well as the 2006-07 design as different from the 07-08 through 13-14 uniforms because of the collar. Los Angeles on the other hand have worn 26, with nine different sweaters during the forum blue and gold era, seven during the Gretzky-silver and black era, and 10 during the STAPLES Center era.
Anaheim will be in their orange 'Mighty' alternates today, which they've gone 2-2-3 in thus far this season.
