Numbers For Nerds

The oldest player to ever suit up for the Anaheim Ducks, the inimitable Teemu Selanne was 48 days from his 44th birthday when he played his final NHL game, yet was not alive the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. When the Leafs dispatched the Montreal Canadiens on May 2, 1967 in game six of the Stanley Cup Final, it would be another 1158 days, or three years, two months and one day until the Finnish Flash was born.

In total, the Ducks franchise has had 34 players who were alive when Toronto last won the Cup appear in a game for them, with Adam Oates, Steve Thomas, and Fredrik Olausson the final to do so as part of the 2003 Western Conference Champions. Of that trio, Olausson's 244 regular season games with the franchise were the most. I didn't steal this from a hockey card that I keep tucked up under anything.
