Best and Worst: Vermette Earns Double Time

Get it? Cause they bought him out

Best: Rakell won’t let up

When is used to be that he would quietly contribute with limited ice time - now that he has been given a more prominent role it is irrefutable that this guy drives this team whenever he is on the ice. He factored in 3 of the 5 goals and scored 2 of them. Its kind of insulting that teams don’t seem to know to target him yet. But keep it up Ricky!

Worst: Theodore not in but Stoner and Holzer are?

I thought he had been playing really well when up with the big club. He was a -1 with the Gulls today but they lost 6-1 so that’s not saying much. Also how weird must it be for Stoner to keep playing day after day knowing that as soon as Murray finds someone desperate enough to take his contract he is gone. Given he was on waivers.

Best: Corey Perry passing first?

No Getzlaf in the line-up is noticeable but Perry did his best to make it less so tonight - setting up goals and making passes when normally he would most definitely have shot. I guess he loves to Troll on the score sheet as well as in between whistles.

Worst: Coyotes Line Combinations

Not that I am complaining but I am pretty sure the reason the Coyotes were so dangerous against us last year was because Duclair and Domi make red hot sex chemistry on the ice. Yet they are on two different lines this season. Go figure.
