GameThread: Ducks @ Canucks (2/18/16)

Improbable as it sounded a couple short months ago, a win tonight (and a little bit of help) will bring the Ducks within a single point of the Pacific Division lead.

Numbers For Nerds

As mentioned in the preview, Henrik Sedin recently became Vancouver's all-time leader in games played. Over the course of 64 games played against Anaheim throughout 15 seasons including a playoff meeting, the elder twin has only put nine pucks past Duck goalies. He has, however, chalked up helpers on 35 other goals. Out of all the teams in the Western Conference, Henrik seems to get kept in check most regularly by the California teams; only the San Jose Sharks (39 in 56 games) and the Los Angeles Kings (40 in 60) have ceded fewer points to Henrik in his career. On the flip side, Corey Perry, Anaheim's active leader in games played (and second only behind Teemu Selanne), has 15 goals and 20 assists in 40 games against Vancouver.
