Hockey-Reference Numbers For Nerds

Anaheim's five goals in the loss to Toronto was the most they've ever scored on the road against the Maple Leafs, and tied their record for most goals scored in a game in the province of Ontario. Back during the 1997-98 season the Mighty Ducks put up five against tonight's opponent Ottawa, knocking off the Senators 5-2 with a Teemu Selanne hat trick, as well as a goal and two assists from Steve Rucchin leading the way.

Before losing the most recent meeting with the Sens last year, Anaheim had won four straight games in Ottawa, dating back to game four of the 2007 Stanley Cup Final. All time, Anaheim is 8-6-1 (including the '07 Final) in the Canadian capitol.
