The Anaheim Ducks have made their first big (roster) move of the off-season as they’ve shipped Frederik Andersen to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Coming back the other way is the 30th overall pick in this year’s draft (originally Pittsburgh’s) as well as a 2nd round draft pick in 2017.

Ducks GM Bob Murray talked about wanting to bring in some more draft picks to help restock the cupboards and he did that here as the Ducks now own two picks in the 1st round of this year’s draft (24th and 30th).

Considering Murray was forced to trade one of his goaltenders - he’d otherwise lose one a year from now in the expansion draft - and how few teams were looking for goaltending help I think he did pretty well here.
