With the 24th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft the Anaheim Ducks selected Max Jones of the London Knights.

Jones is a 6’3’, 200 pound power forward who skates very well for his size. His strides are very powerful and he accelerates quickly for a big man. Jones hits like a truck and has a non-stop motor. At times he crosses the line with his physicality.

With the puck Jones possesses good hands around the net and a very good shot. He can score from a distance but certainly will not hesitate to drive the net and get his hands dirty.

Jones had 28 goals, 52 points and 106 penalty minutes in 63 regular season games with the Knights while playing a middle-6 role.
