Numbers For Nerds

The Detroit Red Wings have far and away the worst power play in the league clocking in at a dismal 11.7%, a full 1.5% behind the next worst New Jersey Devils. The Ducks are one of the most penalized teams in the league (4th in league with 141 penalty kills) so while it's never a good thing to go down a man, it's a bit comforting that Anaheim is playing a team that has struggled mightily this season on capitalizing their chances on the power play.
