The 25-year-old is one of the prime examples of Anaheim’s drafting prowess by solidifying his way into a top 4 role on one of the best defensive teams in the NHL despite being a 6th round draft pick in 2011.
The 6’3” 215 lb defender is known for his shot suppression and is a fan favorite for his devastating at times physical play.
Since he broke into the league in the 2014-2015 season, Manson has put up 35 points (10G, 25A) and carries a +26 rating in 181 career games. He also carries a good 55.12 CF% in his career thanks to his strong passing ability and his tendency to stay at home and keep the puck in effectively on the blue line.
