Track That Trade!

Feb 7 1996 - The Ducks acquired RW Teemu Selanne, the rights to C Marc Chouinard, and a fourth round pick in the 1996 NHL entry draft from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for C Chad Kilger, D Oleg Tverdovsky, and a third round pick in the 1996 NHL entry draft.

The 4th rounder from the Jets was later flipped on Mar 20 1996 for D Ken Baumgartner from the Leafs

The Jets/Coyotes used the third rounder to select Per-Anton Lundstrom who never came to North America

Chad Kilger scored 6 points for the Jets/Coyotes over a span of 39 games before being bounced around the league for the next ten or so years. He is now a Fire Fighter in Cornwall, Ontario.

Oleg Tverdovsky scored 107 points for the Jets/Coyotes over 241 games before being traded back to the Ducks for Travis Green & a first rounder in the 1999 draft; the Coyotes selected Canadian C Scott Kelman 15th overall. He never made the NHL.
