After a long contract dispute, the Ducks and Nick Ritchie have come to terms on a 3 year deal that will leave Ritchie as a RFA with arbitration rights in the summer of 2021. The details of the contract As reported by The Athletic’s Eric Stephens:

The cap hit will be around $1.583M per season (with this year being slightly higher and the following two slightly lower due to the contract being signed after the season).

The big-bodied left winger arrived in Anaheim this week and should jump back into the lineup at some point over the weekend, provided he is in playing shape. All signs point such, with reports saying he is looking like a changed man after training with Gary Roberts in Toronto over the summer.

With the number of players out due to injuries over the past few weeks, it is a nice change of pace to have someone come back.
