Recap of December 26th

The Czech Republic were able to edge out the Swiss with a 2-1 OT win. Lukas Dostal had a standout performance for the Czech’s, posting a 0.963 SV% along with being named player of the game.

The United States narrowly escaped their game with Slovakia, pulling out a 2-1 win after being down 1-0 after two periods.

Canada put on a beat down of Denmark with a 14-0 win. Captain Comtois had 4 goals in the game, including 3 goals in the third period for Canada. Not a whole lot can be taken from this game on an individual or team level for Canada due to them simply being in another class than Denmark.

The Scandinavian rivals met in the final game of the night, with Sweden pulling out a 2-1 win against Finland. Isac Lundestrom was kept off of the score sheet in the game and Olle Eriksson Ek did not dress for the game.
