Ducks vs. Coyotes PREVIEW/GAMETHREAD: Howling for it to Stop

The Ducks finally return home to try and break the four game losing streak

Four games dropped. Outplayed in every single one. Time’s are a bit rough. Fortunately for Anaheim, they take on a team that has dropped 8 of their last 12 games. No Antti Raanta for Arizona gives the Ducks a great chance to snap the losing streak and get back on track with a significant home stand coming up.

Unfortunately, the Ducks will likely be without John Gibson, as he remains day-to-day. Chad Johnson will get the start in net, with Kevin Boyle serving backup duties.

The good news is that skater reinforcements may not be far off. Cam Fowler joined the Ducks for practice yesterday, and will probably be ready for action in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Rickard Rakell has progressed to using a slide board, and hopefully will begin skating on his own shortly.
