Reinforcements from the South: Marcus Pettersson

Updates on Pettersson, Rasmussen, and Holzer

Per Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register, Marcus Pettersson could be making his NHL debut in the next couple of games. All other sources haven’t confirmed (www.theahl.com/ www.capfriendly.com). Oddly enough the only source that is confirming it is the Anaheim Ducks Website (https://www.nhl.com/ducks/roster).

The Dennis Rasmussen experiment looks to be over in Anaheim. Bargain Bob struck out per usual. Rasmussen, “Moose”, looks to be going back to Europe now that he hasn’t been claimed by any other NHL team. Reports were he would still play in the NHL if a team were to claim him. Our very own @CJWoodling did some investigative reporting and was the first in North America to report Dennis Rasmussen was going to Växjö Lakers in the SHL.

Korbinian Holzer looks to be the odd man out as the common 7th D Man/Press Box seat warmer for Anaheim. He will more than likely be joining the San Diego Gulls once he clears waivers.
