On this episode, Felix Sicard is joined by Anaheim Calling staff writer Jake Rudolph to break down the Anaheim Ducks’ 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night. They discuss a strong first period, a near miss by Jakob Silfverberg, and a lackluster second period that would end up costing Anaheim the game.

After breaking down the game, they address the big news of the day: Marcus Pettersson has been called up from the San Diego Gulls in the AHL. They analyze what kind of impact he could have on the team, and what kind of pairings we could end up seeing once he enters the lineup. In addition, a brief discussion is had over the termination of Dennis Rasmussen and the waiving of Korbinian Holzer.
