Travis Yost of TSN is reporting that the Anaheim Ducks have agreed to a deal with Team Canada Olympic captain Chris Kelly.

Bob McKenzie corroborated the report, adding that the deal will be worth $1.25 million and will be pro-rated for the remainder of the season.

The 37-year-old center has 833 NHL games under his belt, mostly with the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators. In that time he has 289 points (123G, 126A) with 425 PIM playing mostly as a 3rd and 4th line grinder.

Kelly had 2 goals and 1 assist with a solid performance at the Olympics for Team Canada, leading to some NHL club interest. He was given a PTO with the AHL Bellville Senators as well as with the Edmonton Oilers before being cut before the season began.
