The 28-year-old was acquired by Anaheim on November 30th, 2017 along with Joseph Blandisi and a 2018 3rd round draft pick in exchange for defenseman Sami Vatanen and a conditional draft pick.
Henrique slotted into the top line center position during the period of the Ducks swath of injuries and instantly made an impact while quickly becoming a fan-favorite for his cheerful disposition and penchant for scoring game-winning goals.
Henrique finished the year with the Ducks with 36 points (20G, 16A) in 57 games for a total of 50 points between New Jersey and Anaheim.
With the signing, the conditional part of the pick sent back to New Jersey will be fulfilled.
