Team USA took on Germany today in the World Junior Hockey Championships. The Ducks first round pick from 2019, Trevor Zegras, was a large reason the US defeated Germany 6-3.
Zegras had four assists, all of which were primary, in a fourth line role that only saw him receive 10:04 minutes of ice time (he had only played 4:44 heading into the third period and already had tallied his 4 assists). This was a statement game for Zegras that the USA head coach Scott Sandelin needs to play him more.

The Boston University freshman now has five points in two games this tournament, all of them primary assists.
The future is bright with Trevor Zegras in the pipeline for the Ducks.
