The Anaheim Ducks will select ninth overall in the upcoming NHL entry draft with the first of their two first round draft picks.
As per Sportnets most recent draft rankings - Saskatoon Blades center Kirby Dach is currently rated 9th best on the draft chart but a multitude of scenarios could occur between now and Friday June 21st that could determine who is taken where and by whom.
The Bad News: The Ducks lost out at winning into the 1-3 odds and the chance to select one of either Jack Hughes or Kaapo Kakko.
The Good News: The Kings dropped from 2nd to 5th overall so they lost out also.
