Anaheim Calling at Great Park Ice

On Sunday, June 30th, staff members of Anaheim Calling as well as readers and listeners joined together for a pickup game at the Ducks new practice facility, Great Park Ice in Irvine.

Jake Rudolph and myself took the data from answers about skill level and years played in the game registration form and drafted teams to make the game as even as possible. What ensued was a fun and competitive game that lived up to the billing in a gorgeous new ice facility with some of the best ice in Southern California.

Anaheim Calling hosts these pickup games every six to eight weeks, mostly split between Great Park Ice and Lakewood Ice. They are open to the public, so even if you don’t play, we would love to have you come out and support us!
