The second round of the NHL playoffs is in full swing with the final eight teams vying to become Stanley Cup champions.

In the early matchup, the New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers kick-off their Eastern Conference semi-final series in Toronto, Canada. The Islanders knocked off the Washington Capitals 4-1 in their first-round series. Josh Bailey is leading New York in scoring with 10 points in nine games, while All-Star Mathew Barzal has seven points for the Isles.

The Flyers are led by goaltender Carter Hart, who has been dynamite thus far in the playoffs. The 22-year-old has a 1.71 goals-against average and two shutouts in the postseason, helping Philly beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 in their opening-round series. The Flyers need to get more scoring from captain Claude Giroux, who hasn’t scored a goal yet in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, in the Western Conference, the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche face-off in Game 2 of their second-round series. Alex Radulov had two goals and an assist in the opener, leading the Stars to a 5-3 win. Colorado goalie Philip Grubauer was injured early in the second period of Game 1, and will not be in the lineup. The Avalanche will start Pavel Francouz in net. He gave up two goals on 20 shots after replacing Grubauer.
