The St. Louis Blues are in town and due to COVID-19 protocols on the Vegas Golden Knights, their last series was cut short. They’ve had some extra time off after their 5-4 shootout win in Vegas on Tuesday.
While stellar goaltending from John Gibson has kept the Ducks afloat, they’re league-worst in both goals and shots on goal per game. St. Louis is one of the bigger offensive threats they’ve face so far this season.
It spells out bad news for the Anaheim Ducks, who are coming off a 3-2 loss on Thursday to the Arizona Coyotes. The offense has to be on point tonight, or well — they’ll be singing the blues.
