Hockey-Reference Numbers For Nerds

Since the Mighty Ducks were knocked out in the 2006 Western Conference Final at the hands of Edmonton, Anaheim is 27-8-3 against the Oilers with a +36 goal differential. Playing on the road hasn't really hurt the Ducks either, going 15-3-1 at Rexall Place over that span while out-scoring the hosts by a 25 goals.

Since current Anaheim goalie coach Dwayne Roloson’s dominating performance during Edmonton’s cinderella run in ’06, the Oilers have trotted out 10 different goalies against the Ducks and only two have winning records: Mathieu Garon went 3-1-0 with a .948 save percentage, and Anders Nilsson won his only outing. An additional note about Roloson vs his current employers- he went 3-3-2 with a .899 SV% while still with the Oilers, after going 4-1 and stopping 93.4% of the Mighty Ducks shots in the Conference Final the year prior.
