Sharks at Ducks, Feb. 5: Lines, gamethread & how to watch

The Anaheim Ducks are up for another round of back-to-backs, this time facing off against the San Jose Sharks over the next two nights.

The Ducks are coming off a dominant 3-1 win against the Los Angeles Kings, and David Backes’ game-winning goal likely earned him a spot in the lineup again tonight, even with the return of Derek Grant, whom Backes replaced due to injury.

It hasn’t been an easy start to the season for San Jose, who have yet to play a home game this season. They have just one regulation win, a 5-3 victory over the Wild. Where goaltending is Anaheim’s biggest strength, it’s easily the Sharks’ biggest weakness. Martin Jones will start tonight, while Devan Dubnyk will take over tomorrow night.
